Entrepreneur School Launches in UK by Million Impossible – The Entrepreneur Network

I am pleased to announce the launch of Entrepreneur School (Essex), which will be held bi-weekly on Wednesdays at the same venue. The launch of Entrepreneur School networking events from Million Impossible now gives our business and entrepreneur network the added benefit of face to face networking as well as our existing online networking business.

We plan to roll out Entrepreneur School events across the country and Million Impossible members will be able to apply, sponsor and run Entrepreneur School events in their area/county. An Entrepreneur School event can be opened in any UK county/area.

I have decided to roll out Entrepreneur School on the basis that Million Impossible members are assigned a region and will be responsible for the running of that region. Each region can be managed by one or two people and they will then be known as the Head of “Kent Entrepreneur School” or “Sussex Entrepreneur”- Similar to a franchise model.

The first launch night Entrepreneur School will be held on the 8th July in Chelmsford our home town at 6pm-8.30pm and I hope that you can all find the time in your busy schedules to attend and contribute towards Entrepreneur School and how it is run.

I have looked at many different Networking events and wish to discuss the best way forward with Million Impossible members that wish to attend on launch night as to how we should run Entrepreneur School and the best way that we can build the concept.

I have a basic model which I would like to present to you all on the launch evening as to how I feel that we should manage the events. There is so much business experience now within the membership base of Million Impossible that I feel it will be much better for the business, our members and future new members if we all come together as a network and agree how ES should proceed.

Also for us as a business to manage the growth of ES by running every event ourselves will be virtually impossible and would harm the long term growth. By opening it up so that we effectively have heads of each County/ Area will mean that there are no limits to our growth.

Regional ES Meetings to be held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings with a 6pm start time through to 8.30pm. By running the networking events across four days allows flexibility of members who wish to visit other Entrepreneur School Groups.

Attendance fees will vary per event depending on whether food is supplied during the event.The head of the ES will welcome everyone to the event and list the evenings speakers line up and run through how the event works for newcomers.

Two new speakers should address the attendees at each event lasting no more than ten minutes, 30 minutes in total. The topics should be varied and educational representing great take away value for the attendees. Speakers will be booked in advance and will be promoted by Million Impossible’s online Network, Newsletters, Business Forums, Business Articles and Raw Magazine which is published Bi Monthly both online and in printed editions.

The three speakers for each event will pay a fee to speak to the audience. The fee includes attendance and they will be allowed to put up a table and a roller banner to promote their services after they have delivered their educational topic and the speakers section has finished.

From 7-15pm the event moves into a networking event where attendees have the opportunity to talk and discuss any aspect of business with any attendee. I will be touring different regional events to add value wherever I can to each region.

During the launch night on the 8th July we will be talking about the best way to run Entrepreneur School and discuss with Million Impossible the best format. Entrepreneur School is both for people aspiring to start and run a business as well as experienced Entrepreneurs who are already running a business. We all need help, support and guidance at every stage of our business whether it is formation or Management buyout and who knows even Stock Market flotation. We can all give something and we can all learn something.

The aim of each Entrepreneur School event will be for members/ networkers to learn all aspects of being in and running a business, pass business referrals, network and increase contacts base, Members to offer help and support to budding and aspiring entrepreneurs and existing businesses, mentor and tutor each other, talk and discuss business successes and failures, to raise and build confidence levels of individuals who would not normally use face to face networking as a business building option, anything else that the sponsors of schools agree to roll out.

Entrepreneur School face to face networking events for networkers will be charged at between £10 – £20+ Vat per event with multiple booking discounts available, which will include a light buffet and drinks in many schools.

Entrepreneur School sponsors who will head up and run an ES event will pay a sponsorship fee and will run their area for 6 months or 1 year and are priced at £595 and £995+Vat respectively.

Entrepreneur School sponsors will benefit from an income opportunity and raised profile and marketing status on Million Impossible online Network, ES Group marketing and Raw Business Magazine exposure.

Each Entrepreneur school head sponsor will also become a moderator on and use Million Impossible’s business forums as an extended communication/ business link for all Entrepreneur School members to talk, discuss, share and contribute online with their peers.

Each Entrepreneur school head sponsor will also be able to use Million Impossible’s online community chat as an extended communication/ business link and live discussion for all Entrepreneur School members to deliver a live webinar/ discussion on varying topics of business.

Entrepreneur School attendance numbers are only limited to the venue size and interest for networker members to join and get involved. There will be recognition for the Entrepreneur School head sponsors who grow their schools/ networking event to 25/50/75 and 100 members.

Entrepreneur School is an amazing online and face to face networking opportunity for all UK businesses. When I first came up with the idea of Million Impossible I never dreamed I would know the people I now know and have experienced the things that I have.

Entrepreneur challenges Virgin Airline with latest modern Aircraft

Watch out Sir Richard Branson I have taken my first flying lesson and it will not be long be long before i complete my first transatlantic crossing!

My better half purchased a trial flying lesson for my birthday recently and i took to the skies like a natural. The Cessna 152 was an amazing aircraft holding just two people – The pilot and myself and without a moments thought we taxied to the runway at Stapleford Abbots Airfield.

As my four children watched I taxied safely and then before they knew it their daddy had taken to the skies.. I had put my business networking company on hold for a day and concentrated purely on myself and wow what a feeling it was.

The very next moment i was airborne and climbing to 2000 feet. My instructor was a young lady who was very calm and and extremely good fun!

My first lesson was amazing. My friend flies for BA and I wonder just how much skill you need to fly an Airbus? I mean my instruments were very basic.. The artificial horizon, flaps, rudder, throttle, fuel gauge..

I loved every minute of it and I am now focusing on becoming a major competitor for Virgin Airlines!

I am pleased to deliver our first Million Impossible corporate video which has been kindly created by Naomi and Hayden at Innovative Media Services. The video was created at our recent Business Startups trade show held at The London Excel Centre during May 2009.

Our stand which promoted our businesses, Million Impossible and Raw Magazine was probably the busiest stand there and attracted a very large audience and interest in what we are trying to achieve for Entrepreneurs. The corporate video below summarises what we stand for and what we are trying to achieve.

Million Impossible has grown dramatically over the last few months and our members are both engaging the site and starting to see the benefits of business networking. We have received letters of thanks and admiration for what we are trying to achieve.

The Good and Bad in People – Good is Better!

Hello Everybody

I have  been so overwhelmed recently with the good and bad in people. The good in people can be so motivational, positive and in general good things come from being a good person, whilst in bad people, well only bad things come.

I had two calls of extremes this evening:-

One- Was from a dear friend who is going to a funeral tomorrow of a close friend that passed away recently. He was very upset and is clearly missing him.

Two – Was from a guy who was hell bent on destruction. By deliberately going out of his way to produce negative results.

Why do some people feel that by being bad, destructive, counter productive or just plain stupid feel that it is the best way to win friends and influence people.

None of us are perfect and i would guess that at times we all may have been destuctive, but what a waste of energy. If these people put as much positive energy into everything that they di they would probably become a happy person.

Job Description:

We require a senior web developer to work internally full time on our numerous websites to move our business forward. The developer will take instruction from the WDD and the MD on various projects. The developer will need to be skilled in numerous languages mainly ASP.NET, PHP, AJAX.NET and MySQL are the other technical requirements. Strong knowledge of Web application administration is required.

The IWD will have experience of high growth networking businesses and will have had some exposure to business forums and will possess some viral marketing knowledge.

The position involves major targeted SEO growth with both on page and off age optimisation being paramount to the success of the business. You will have an understanding of Google and Global search engine visibility. Your skills and ability will also include planning, structuring and designing websites from idea to conception, with full front end and back end CMS management.

As IWD you will implement a full scale linking campaign from our existing client base the external market with planned and forecast growth being advised to the senior team.

You will be working in a fast paced and energetic environment predominantly lead by and outbound sales team and as such you will be required to create management reporting systems that are capable and scalable in terms of collecting and provide key KPI data to the directors in the business.

You will have a full understanding of blogs (either Word press, similar or bespoke) and have the skills to implement existing blogs into our website.

We also require I.T knowledge and you will have the necessary skills to service and repair our existing I.T infrastructure from laptops to servers and domain hosting. It would serve you well if you have knowledge of YouTube and similar streaming video websites as well as RSS feeds and business and social bookmarking. We aim to move into live webcasts shortly. Some creative design work may be required using various design programmes such as Adobe and Quark.

The Person:

You will be a highly organised and chronological thinker and you will be systematic problem solver who possesses a can do attitude. You will be an amazing multi action/ job tasker who has the ability to work under pressure and structured in his day.

Our ideal candidate will be a person that has the ability to face a problem and provide a solution. You will initially have one junior web developer in your team that you will help train and develop their skill and knowledge levels.

Your Knowledge of ASP will serve you well as our main site is coded with ASP. Some of our sites are PHP based and it may well be that we move away from ASP in the near future. You will be looking for real progression and will be joining a forward thinking, passionate and highly driven team that has an amazing business opportunity.

You will be a likable, positive and creative character and will win friends in our business. You will feel confident speaking to and meeting with key suppliers and development new relationships with new suppliers. You will be expected to make outbound calls and not be reliant on email.

You will be ruthless with your time and even more ruthless with your departmental spend. You will be working to tight budget and will maximise the cross networking opportunities.

You will be expected to be on emergency call to service and issue/problems/ downtime with our websites and priority will be to resume any break in service as quickly as possible.

Raw Entrepreneur Magazine Goes to Print!

Hi everybody

It has seemed like a lifetime to us moving from our previous digital Raw Magazine Editions into a fully printed glossy A4 printed version for edition 6.. Well myself and Scott are both pleased, humbled and honoured at the same time to deliver our best edition yet featuring an exclusive interview with the UK’s highest profile PR agent Mr Max Clifford!

I have worked with Scott for over 6 years and during that time our relationship has moved both forward and backwards at the same time. It takes a very long time to build a working relationship with a business partner and it takes and even longer time to be able to respect and understand each others strengths and weaknesses. If you can work together as a team and share a common vision or goal then of course anything might be possible. We have worked on our differences and we seem to be moving into a new respect zone.

We had some launch shots taken last week to celebrate the Raw Entrepreneur Magazine edition 6 in print and at first they started really seriously and before we knew it we started to feel almost as if we were famous for a minute!

The Power of Being a Positive Entrepreneur – by Bradley Chapman

It really touches me and even on the darkest of days like today when our revenue is less than 50% of what we need to cover our costs and a day when I have delivered an amazing heartfelt and visionary speech to my team and yes i guess that it may have empowered the courageous among them.

It’s 4.45 and i am nearly passing out from exhaustion and lack of sleep through worry and not being able to do, create and deliver everything that Mi is demanding and needing right now..

I can sit back and eat my cottage pie with the comfort that I am not alone and that we all share the highs and lows of being in business… There are days that I love calling myself an Entrepreneur and days that i shake in fear for what i have had to do, some good and some bad.

I just spoke to a lady called Sue who is a life coach and she told me how she had come back from a near death experience.. Sue no speaks to Entrepreneurs and encourages them.

Its people like like this that puts us all to shame with our simple whims like “Where is everybody”

Business SOS – This part of the web site is wide open for any of the areas listed and featured to be taken over by members of MI – do you have any ideas. This is a really good opportunity for Mi Members.

Angels Den – we are looking to pair with a VC company that will provide VC funding and advice for our members?

Business PR – we need a PR agency to take over and sponsor this area of the site and help our members with PR and Marketing?

Mi News – we need a professional press release business to sponsor and run this aspect of our site so that our members can issue free and paid for press releases. Our members need advice and guidance on writing, proof reading and promoting a press release – any ideas/ contacts?

This is just for starters. If you realise that we will have around 40,000 members by then end of Dec 2009, then think about this! Do any of you really want to waste negative energy on the things that you don’t have,instead use that energy positively and get the things you want? Ummm….. Thought provoking.

Welcome to Entrepreneur Paradise!

It’s Monday the 16th of February 2009 and for all the Entrepreneur lovers out there – Did you manage to get your partners some flowers, some chocolates or that special gift?

The team at Million Impossible had a night out on Friday, which as normal got a bit messy! The drink was flowing and with it the new members to Mi HQ experienced a baptism of fire! Everybody finally came home either Saturday morning, afternoon or evening and a few managed to drag the weekend into Sunday! Shame on you LOL.

As Entrepreneurs we all seem so busy building our businesses that we can at times forget what is most important to us – our loved ones. They stand by us while we work relentless hours and when we think up ideas 24/7/365 they support us. Valentines day is a day to make relationships stronger and heal wounds between lovers and partners and i hope that you all managed to heal and strengthen yours.

I did bring my loved one some heart shaped balloons and a personal gift but i forgot to give her my heart so here it is.. Thanks Em for your support and standing by me this last year or so. You have been an angel!
